Two-day Seminar on Practice Theories

The call for papers is open!

The PMI Chair is organizing two study days on approaches and theories of practice. The practice turn invites us to study the actions, gestures, (micro)dynamics, rituals, discourses, etc. that construct social order. It has its roots in the work of social philosophy, which developed anti-dualistic thinking, and is giving rise to a growing body of research in management. The aim of these two days of study is to explore the contributions of an as-practice approach to current management research, in the context of our society in transition. Well-developed in the field of strategy, as-practice theories are infiltrating all management sub-disciplines. Find all the info in the call for papers to download here.
